Sofa-Scratcher will authorize returns or exchanges of UNUSED/UNSCRATCHED merchandise in its original packaging within 15 days of receipt of your order. Please contact us with your order details and the reason for your return/exchange to request a Return Authorization Number (RAN).
- Customers are responsible for return shipping (shipping via insured carrier recommended).
- Return items must be received within 15 days of issuing a Return Authorization Number.
- Return merchandise will be inspected upon receipt to confirm that it is unused/unscratched.
- You will receive a notification email when your return is received.
- When making an exchange, customers are responsible for all subsequent shipping charges for replacement items.
Once your item is inspected, you will be notified of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 3-5 business days.
- Refunds will be issued for merchandise and taxes (NJ customers only) only.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Late or Missing Refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet…
- First check your bank account again.
- Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
- Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
- If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at email@example.com.
The refund process for gifts is determined at checkout when the original purchase it made.
- If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
- If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver.
- Gift Cards/Gift Certificates are non-refundable
